This document sets out key information about your relationship with our agencies (Ambition 24 hours; BNA; Mayfair; Nursing Services of the UK; Grosvenor; First Call Employment ), including details about pay, holiday entitlement and other benefits.

The Employment Agency Standards (EAS) Inspectorate is the government authority responsible for the enforcement of certain agency worker rights. You can raise a concern with them directly on 020 7215 5000/eas@beis.gov.uk or through the ACAS helpline on 0300 123 1100, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

How often you will be paid:

 

Weekly but can be irregular because payment is dependent on:

  • shift availability
  • timesheets being authorised by clients correctly 
  • legible timesheets submitted on time (within two weeks of the last shift completed) 

Payments to be made at least one week in arrears.

Expected or minimum rate of pay:

 

Always above the current National Minimum Living Wage.

We have standard rates on our website which are a guide, however pay rates vary between agencies and due to the job role, timebands and client type.

Actual pay rates can be obtained from your consultant when your shift is confirmed or request it from the Payroll Department by emailing your shift details to mypay@a24group.com

Deductions from your pay required by law:

Income Tax and National Insurance on both PAYE & PSC Ltd payment type. Further information can be found on the HMRC website https://www.gov.uk/

Any other deductions or costs from your pay 

If applicable for PAYE payment type only

  • Student Loan
  • Attachment of Earnings
  • Direct Earnings Attachment & 
  • Child Maintenance

Holiday entitlement and pay:

Additional benefits:

If you are PAYE payment type, providing you qualify, you may be eligible for the following statutory benefits as per HMRC guidelines.

•           Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)

•           Statutory Maternity pay and leave

•           Statutory Paternity pay and leave

•           Statutory Adoption pay and leave

 

PAY EXAMPLE 1 – A24 GROUP LTD AS YOUR PRIMARY EMPLOYER 

Example rate of pay:

£500 per week

Deductions from your wage required by law:

£51.80 Income Tax and £38.04 National Insurance.

Any other deductions or costs from your wage:

Workplace pension (when and if applicable) £15.20

Any fees for goods or services:

 

Example net take home pay:

£394.93

  

PAY EXAMPLE 2 – A24 GROUP LTD AS YOUR SECONDARY EMPLOYER 

Example rate of pay:

£500 per week

Deductions from your wage required by law:

£100.00 Income Tax and £38.04 National Insurance.

Any other deductions or costs from your wage:

Workplace pension (when and if applicable) £15.20

Any fees for goods or services:

 

Example net take home pay:

£346.76
